Do You CPA?
Many people seem to have trouble getting accepted into CPA networks. CPA networks can certainly be pickier than other affiliate networks. Since the money potential is so great, they are a major target for fraud and theft.
The first thing you need to do is fill out an application. Some applications will be very simple, asking for your personal details and a URL. Others may ask you for a website description, how you plan to market, and any other CPA networks you already use.
If you are a PPC marketer, you should enter something like iamappcmarketer.com or something similar for your URL. Don’t worry about entering a false URL, because you’re going to explain yourself to the network quickly. If there is a place for a website description, simply state that you are a PPC marketer, and that all or most of your traffic is obtained through PPC search systems like Google AdWords.
After you have submitted your application, it’s time to contact the network. This is absolutely mandatory for larger CPA networks. If you don’t call them, they will call you. Smaller networks don’t always call, but you can speed up the application process or save yourself a denial if you call them.
When you speak to them, they will ask you a few questions. Questions may include how long you have been using CPA, which networks you are currently using, how many monthly visitors you have, your monthly ad budget, and which types of offers you’ve used successfully before.
Just answer truthfully. Give a budget of around $100 per day, and estimate the other questions as best you can. Your honesty will impress the person you’re speaking to.
